Digital Camera question.

    So there is a setting for image quality on the camera.
    With a image size and i think distance?!?
    What does it do besides change the image size?!?
    Like:
    3M (2048)
    5M (2592)
    8M (3264)
    PC (1024)

    It makes the file sizes smaller so you can fit more on a memory card.
    Thats the only reason I can think of for not using full resoultion/full quality.

    So the bigger the image means more pixels and thus a sharper image?
    I always wondered about the 3M, 5M and 8M...

    Yeah
    3m is 3 million pixels per pic, 5m is 5 million and so-on.
