Are you talking about the dark troopers that tried to kill the insurgents?

I assumed they were the first generation of dark troopers.

That was a good conclusion to the series, the clones finding some peace, Omega growing up and going off to join the Rebellion.

I was kind of expecting more from the other kids though, maybe somehow have something to do with Skeleton Crew despite the time difference between series, or have the Force Furbie trip Hemlock up.
