For starters, pointing out that he doesn’t give a shit about such things as people losing their jobs. Then there’s the fact that anything Leftists would want to ensure that the people who got laid off by Tesla either didn’t get laid off, or had a strong social safety net to make it easier on them, would be vigorously opposed by him.

I think the only interest a libertarian would take in people losing jobs is if some 3rd party forced it on the employer/employee relationship.

Aside from current US politics in which the party’s themselves hold the power; in a perfect world, it would absolutely be the responsibility of all individuals in positions with any sort of political power to force businesses to adjust to a pandemic - even if that means people lose jobs.

A while ago, I was riding the bus. Because in Detroit, poor people ride the bus and I'm a poor person (I don't think I've mentioned that here before, now everyone knows), so I have to ride the bus occasionally or they'll revoke my poor license.

Anyway, this one guy, out of nowhere, just takes a massive shit in his pants. It was a spectacle to behold, like in a comedy film five minutes after someone accidentally eats laxatives. Moments later, his pants are ruined, and there's liquidy shit just everywhere around his seat. Not watery, it had a bit of bulk to it, like pancake batter someone added a little too much water to. He yells "who just shit their pants?" He gets up, starts pointing to people one by one, saying "you shit your pants" like it was the worst ever Oprah live audience giveaway.

Three people near the back then shit their pants, but, like, in a more normal way, I guess? It was clear each of them had a freshly-expelled log in their underwear, but they were trying to be subtle about it. The three of them stood, and a small turd fell from the pant leg of the one on the left. He nonchalantly kicked it under a nearby seat.

"It is thou whom hast shit thy pants, villain!" proclaimed the one in the middle, presumably the leader of the trio. No idea why he was talking like that.

"Prove it," retorted the original shitter, now somehow completely covered in shit, "I bet you guys shit your pants daily!"

"Thou whomst denies, supplies!"

"Can you prove it, yes or no?"

"Thou art covered in thine own offal, while our backsides remain pristine!"

I decided to get off the bus before one of them realized that shit can be thrown, as I had little confidence in their ability to aim properly.
