I've avoided it. But I'm considering watching it. See, I think that with some slight modification the techniques he uses on dogs could be applied to women, but I'm not sure. So has anyone watched enough of the show to know? This information could save me valuable time and effort.
I watch him when I'm around a tv and he's on at the same time. I think that last happened over a year ago. I don't think his methodology could be applied directly to women. For example: younger women have pack/herd mentality, but typically not older women. Also, he focuses a lot on dogs with confidence issues that stem from abuse. Do you want that kind of baggage in a human relationship?
Something about V dressing up in a fur coat, dabbing some steak drippings behind his ears, and murmuring sweet nothings to the chihuahua next door...
No, but the dude was on my flight last business trip. After we landed at LAX, one of my (female, obviously) co-workers was all "The Dog Whisperer was on our flight" and I was like "Who?!?" Then I said "Darryl Strawberry was on our flight!" and she was like "Who?!?"
Oooh... So the Dog Whisperer is big with women? This would seem to support my hypothesis that the same techniques you can use to train a dog can be applied to women.
It was a joke. Apparently this Dog Whisperer guy makes a noise like that when the dog is misbehaving. So if my premise is that a girl...never mind. This works too (and is actually sort of doubly relevant to this thread):
Frankly, that dogtrainer is just "too" gay. It's no wonder the dogs all learn the ropes quickly; just to get away from him. I've only watched it once, but my mother worships the ground he walks on, which I don't get considering she's about as religiously nutty as Fred Phelps.
Women are kind of pack animals. They go to the bathroom together. They look for a strong, assertive male--whether they realize it or not...
