Do you really think face is the only one keeping him in the red? There's a hell of a lot more people sick of his worthless threads and two track mind.
I'm honored that people think that I alone could have taken baba from one green pip to six red pips in 72 hours. I mean, do the math people. My rep-fu is strong, but not that strong.
I find it amazing that people could actualy spend time and effortlooking for posts just to add negrep. Thats a mindset that really, really needs something better to do...
Well, no. Admins can confirm duals in many cases, but they can't confirm non-duals absent personal knowledge that goes well beyond looking at an IP address. Turn on Tor, block cookies, and what's an admin to do absent personal knowledge or security software well beyond wordforge's budget? Non-matching IPs don't confirm non-duals, and, of course, you can always just have multiple routes of internet access. That said, I wasn't intending an accusation, just noting that it's definitely possible for one person to drop several hundred negreps over the course of 3 days.
Oh I agree. If, for instance, I had 10 duals, then it would be entirely possible to do such a feat. Naturally, I do not and you'd be hardpressed to find an obscure poster dropping such quantities of rep on baba. At least, negative rep.
It's TWO CLICKS to list all your posts. If you think that's time and effort, then it's no wonder you're a complete failure in life.
Just about every single post by baba is followed up by a "Faceman disagrees". Occasionally I see a neg-rep by Darkening or I guess Sokar, once or twice by Anna, but mostly it just seems to be Face. Hell, in looking over baba's posts over the past few weeks, I mostly see pos-reps, so I am wondering why he is still so deep in the red. Well, I guess because I see many baba posts with no rep other than the obligatory "Faceman disagrees" rep.
I wouldn't be so sure. If there's one thing that we know with absolute certainty that Sokar's more intimately familiar with than anyone else, it's "complete failure in life." He knows whereof he speaks on this matter. Of course he's a liar as well as a failure, so you can't take what he says too seriously, but if Sokar honestly judged you to be a complete failure it would be time to reevaluate life.
A competent Wordforger can drop thirty negs in the time it takes to make one reasonably long response, or on the time they're waiting for someone else to post in a thread they're contributing to. It's not a big deal. Besides, I don't think anyone who posts regularly on an internet forum is in a position to lecture others on needing something better to do.
It's two clicks to list the 500 most recent posts someone's made, and there are only 25 per page. And you can't filter the results to include only the posts you haven't repped yet. And stealth rep-jihads generally involve hitting posts older than the most recent 500. None of which is to say that rep-jihad is even difficult enough so as to be beyond Sokar's feeble capabilities, because it isn't, but it takes a few more than two clicks, and it takes a feeble mind that doesn't balk at boring, repetitive pointlessness.
1. Create filter (RR and Gray Room, posts by poster X older than X months)- takes 2 seconds 2. Save filter link - takes 1 second 3. Start at the front and work forward (remember where you left off) - takes 2 minutes 4. When (if) you get to the end create new filter (rarely happens) It's like it's fucking rocket science to you people.
I take it back; that is too complicated for Sokar. Who's been helping him? Anyway, I'm looking for the point, but it's like I'm staring at a beach ball.

Now, in Ted's case he had that rep coming..he donated a lot to Summerteeth's run and Nick checked the logs, Elwood forgot to give him the rep. Ted never even mentioned it...it was someone else who asked about it. This would be pure charity.
