You'd be correct, however that does very little to shed any light on the situation.

I think he bought some or all of the DS9 relaunch novels - apparently not in order b/c Ezri is now a captain all of the sudden.

This topic got my hopes up for a new TV series.

Baba, you didn't buy them in order. You needed to get Avatar first.

I think a Dr. Bashir book comes before that, but if you're looking for a story that comes right after What You Leave Behind, Avatar is it.

It's certainly not the Ezri being a captain story.

Yeah I read Avatar I and II, then the Bashir Section 31 novel...then I decided I'm not that much of a geek anymore.

BUT...then I see the novels at book stores and I see the final novel w/ Captain Kira and Sisko on the cover and I get curious...

Be an idea to read them in order....

Stitch in Time is probably one of the best Trek books out there, and the relaunch is okay. Maybe I've gotten a little tired of Trek, but I find the quality in general of Trek books has really gone down.

Maybe it similar to my comment in the Watchmen thread, but I find the books have gone too po-faced and biiiiggggg, sccarrryyyy events. The recent Borg books Resistance/Before Dishonour; I kept trying to see in a good light, but in the end had to conclude they were fucking wank.

Relentlessly grim, with the odd bits of familiar humour and glimmers of hope, Trek has done a DC.

That's the only thing that's keeping me onboard, I normally devour books in hours, yet 'Fearful Symmetry' sits part-read on my shelf and I'm not feeling that compelled to complete it.

I compare that to Peter F Hamilton's Temporal Void, which I couldn't put down...
