If it's real, I will buy it without question. If it's just vaporware, then they've added insult to injury.
Sign me up - I'm an old-school FPS fan. Of course I won't spend money for it since no one remembers the Duke... I'll play it "at a friend's house"
It's real, it's coming, and I will be there waving a fist full of money at them to buy it the instant I can.
That is fucking awesome. My first reaction was "yeah, right" but upon further internet searches it looks like the real deal. Amazon and Best Buy are taking preorders. Come get some!
*yawn* Are there going to be nude women running around throughout the entire game? Because that's really the only selling point here. Leave this cheap novelty of a gaming franchise back in the 90s where it belongs.
At this point, they oughta just stop already. Listen, fellas... we don't want Duke Nukem Forever anymore. Y'all been yankin' that football for over a decade now, and we're sick of runnin' at it.
Much like Doom 3, this game is going to be a turd. However, unlike Doom 3 it doesn't seem to have anything interesting as far as graphics advancements. I'm sure it will sell well anyway, if they actually launch it.
Duke Nuke'm similar to DOOM? NOT Doom 3, the ORIGINAL DOOM. DOOM was awesome & I've never played Duke Nuke'm.
Not sure on that one. On the one hand, amongst the small slice of aging gamers that remember when Duke Nukem 3D was popular enough to merit a sequel, it'll probably sell big. On the other hand, the number of people who fit that description who are still interested in buying it has probably dwindled to a negligible percentage.
I was enjoying it right up to the point where nothing happened when I was instructed to repeatedly tap space to yank some tubes out of an alien's head. I tried four times and then gave up and watched Battle LA. Thumbs up on that btw.
Mass Effect 3 will be more innovative with its use of the kinect's microphone for dialogue selection.
Kiddo picked it up Monday, I was watching her and her friends play a bit earlier today. I look forward to giving it a go.
I bought it yesterday and have played it for about 45 minutes. So far, meh. If it was released 10 years ago it would have been awesome. Today, not so much.
She said on the way to pick it up the reviews were meh at best but figured we'd find out for ourselves since we've heard that before and actually liked those games.
