I found an excellent way to reduce spam on there. I muted Musk.

Pre Musk, my feed tended to filled with left wing nutters. Post, right wing nutters.

The political wing bit was never the problem, the nutter bit was.

My best way to filter the horrors of twitter was to let other people bring me tweets.

I just found a few funny accounts and checked in on them occasionally. Without ever making an account.
