This shit should be a huge sign on every company elon has control of now. We have to start looking at the reality that spaceX and Starlink are putting orbital garbage around our planet that we will have to clean up in the future because it will be in the way. Is starlink just going to be a bunch of out of date buggy as fuck shit in orbit in 5 years that we really wish wasn't there because there is no plan to remove it? Is the space X platforjm going to be a huge waste of time in 5-10 years because this man is just trying to be first with no concern about any problems?

This is not NASA trying to be first because of some race. This is a guy trying to be first because the first person there will force everyone to use their product because there is no physical room for other products? We already have Elon trying to make Tesla charging stations the norm across the couintry. We don't need a bunch of rando charging stations that don't provide full service across the nation. Then we have the bullshit of cell phone coverage only with our cars. I am not switching from ICE over to EV if I am going to have to worrty about which EV charging network I have to use is a thing. I could deal with an adapter in the trunk, but then you know assholes will be stealing the adapter while you are off waiting for the charge.

Elon is a bad actor, like steve jobs was. We can feel lucky that the internet went with the universal communications of TCP/IP over Jobs visions of crappletalk.Do we really want Tesla to get proprietary rights on our charging network, sattelite communications, and space exploration?
