Being constantly reminded by the marketing "experts" that Twitter is a vital platform for increasing brand awareness is really pissing me off. Swimming in a sewer is not something I want to do, no matter what the payoff is. I will be very happy if Twitter rots and dies before the lettuce. Of course, Instagram and Facebook are also problematic and LinkedIn also has some issues.

I've only really ever used LinkedIn, but even that quickly morphed from a professional career-orientated networking site to just another social media cesspool of idiots posting photos of their kids and/or engaging in highly-politicized debate.

Fuck social media.

In fact, fuck people in general.
