The Premier League kicks off within the hour.
Here is my forecast for the new season.

The transfer window closes at the end of the month,
so we don't how exactly how the teams will line up.

    1. Manchester United

In: David De Gea, Ashley Young, Phil Jones
Out: Paul Scholes, Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville

United have super deep team, loaded with young talent.
They will win the Premier League, and have a very good chance in the Champions League.
Even if they stumble this year, they are in excellent shape for the future.

    2. Manchester City

In: Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, Stefan Savic
    Out: Shay Given, Jerome Boateng

City have enough talent to win the league, but they don't have the team.
Expect lots of drama from unhappy Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez.

    3. Liverpool

In: Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson, Jose Enrique
Out : Paul Konchesky, Milan Jovanovic

Liverpool have improved their team, and there is a positive feeling around the club, after a strong finish last season.

    4. Chelsea

    In: Oriel Romeu, Romelu Lukuka
    Out: Yuri Zhirkov

    Too Old.

    5. Tottenham Hotspur

    In: Brad Freidel
    Out: Jonathon Woodgate, Jamie O'Hara

Spurs have spent the summer just trying to hold onto their players.
They will contend for a place in the Champions League.

    6. Arsenal

    In: Gervinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Out: Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy

Arsenal can no longer attract the top players.

    7. Everton

    In: -
    Out: James Vaughn

    8. Aston Villa

    In: Shay Given, Charles N'Zogbia
Out: Ashley Young, Stewart Downing, Brad Fridel

    9. Fulham

In: John Arne Riise, Pajtim Katami
    Out: -

    10. Sunderland

In: Ahmed Elmohamady, Sebastian Larsson, Conor Wickham,
Craig Gardner, Wes Brown, John O'Shea
    Out: Jordan Henderson, Steed Malbranque

Sunderland will finish in the top half.

    In the Champions League.

The top teams have added even more attacking talent,
but neglected their lack of depth in central defence.

    1. Real Madrid

In: Nuri Sahin, Fabio Coentrao, Hamit Altintop, Raphael Varane
    Out: Sergio Canales, Ezequiel Garay

Real have assembled the strongest team overall.

    2. Barcelona

    In: Alexis Sanchez, Cesc Fabregas
    Out: Bojan Krkic

Carles Puyol is 33 years old, and has not yet returned from knee surgery.

Manchester United are a genuine threat to win it all.

    That's it.
Opening matches are just about to kick-off.
    Good Luck to everyone.
    Hope you enjoy the season.

Arsenal are a disaster. They're in for a rough season. And thats assuming they get past Udinese. Taking a 1 goal lead to Italy isnt exactly confidence inspiring.
