Acknowledging deeds done wrong, admitting guilt, realizing that mistakes made haven't always a remedy, is a tough admission for anybody.

Yet I'll freely admit I've done wrong many times over, made many mistakes, and I haven't any excuse.

    How about you?

Ain't asking for specifics, just curious if anybody regrets anything anymore.

Or have shame, regret, and remorse all become taboo emotions that no one should have to experience?

Couple of times in various walks of life. Nothing I'm going to elaborate on, however. I'm reasonably sure that almost every human being who ever lived to the ripe old age of 25 has/had at least one proverbial skeleton in their closet.

Yes, but I was almost always backed into a "damned if you do, damned if you don't", corner.

I admit to having some trouble with this question. I've done things that caused harm to others, but more often than not, they caused benefit to myself. I'm not talking harm as in evil, just, things that could benefit somebody not being done in favor of something that benefits me. I see that as a judgement call.

As far as the made mistakes element of the question, we all do, but what is the motivation behind the mistake? Sometimes it's not clear that the choice was wrong, so much as the unintended outcome. Generally, I'm of the opinion that people shouldn't have regrets, but that certainly doesn't mean we shouldn't acknowledge when we have caused harm to others.

Oh yes, I've made some doozies in my day, and I have my share of regrets. But the trick is to learn from your mistakes, don't repeat them, and move forward from there.

Wrong is a pretty hard thing to nail down, there's quite a few contexts where the "wrong" thing is the "right" thing and vice-versa.

That said I certainly have done a few wrong things in my day by most available contexts :)

Honestly I don't really. About the only things I have remorse over have to do with breakups. Ya know stuff like "I feel bad that it didn't work out." No I'm not lily white clean, it's just that I made the best decision I could at the time and live at peace with those decisions. Now if you are talking about shit that I hope doesn't ever come to light, I do not have one single skeleton in any closet

I have a so many that they have their own storage vault :ramen:

Heck yeah. One or two regrets, but mostly "oh well, I did that, time to move on. And not tell anyone."

Does a life of crime count? Not even kiddin', I was at one time something of a criminal mastermind.

EDIT: Yes, obviously I regret it.

The only way to go, really.

The people who ostensibly love you say they want you to be happy, and yet, do everything in their power and imagination to make you guilty to the point of self loathing over your tiniest of mistakes, and when you give them that, they're disgusted.

    Ditto your enemies.
Give them victory, give them self loathing, self destruction, self annihilation, and for some reason, they're not happy.

People are just fucking stupid, and insane.
It's the only rational conclusion to draw.

If by 'right' you mean being faced with a decision where there is an obvious right/wrong, and I did the wrong thing fully known it would BE wrong, then no. I can compromise, but I refuse to knowingly do something that furthers my own personal gain while at the same time screwing someone else over. Sad that so many others have no problem with that though.

As for right/wrong as far as 'oh shit, I screwed up'....kind of wrong, yes many times, and probably many more times in the future.

Given the web of lies you've spun here over the last 9 years, why would anyone believe a word of anything you say?

Brain damage is the only possible reason.

People might also feign belief in what he says as part of a plan for mocking visionrazer, but there's really not much of a point to that.

Some "lesser of two evil" decisions where doing nothing would have led to worse consequences.

There are a couple of semi-serious things that I'd probably count. One of them could have landed me in court.

Okay, so what did you as part of this "life of crime?"

Was it the doughnut thievery? Welching on your debt to Ten Lubak? Or something more nefarious? Make up something entertaining.

He kidnapped the puppy of a girl who turned him down for a date, leashed it to a flag pole at the statehouse, beat it unconscious, took a dump on it, and set it on fire.

Nope, I'm taking the Fifth, and I don't mean that as a figure of speech. On the details, anyway. I will say this: the worst thing I ever got caught for, I was never convicted for, and the worst thing I was never even implicated in was far, far worse than that. And aside from that... I've never even been to Belize.
