I was at my local Sam's club the other day, and they had season 6 of Highlander and the sole season of Highlander: The Raven for $16.88 a piece. For that price, I took the plunge, if only for the Joe and Methos stuff. And seeing Hugh Fitzcairn lose his shirt in the stock market crash of 1929 while trying to solve his own "murder".

I've seen most every episode, good show. My only complaint is that most episodes end with a beheading but they can't show it on tv so all we're left with are the reactions to Quickenings. And the reactions have always been kinda cheesy.

Did anyone else notice that Adrian Paul has more than a passing resemblance to Sean Connery from the original movie?

The resemblance is even more obvious when compared to the Dr. No era Sean Connery.

Well, don't get too carried away, Highlander: The Source is coming down the pike soon, and I'm not hearing good things. But I figure I've come this far, I owe it to myself to see the whole inferno, y'know?

Edit: Yeah Clyde, I have noticed Adrian's resemblance to Sir Sean, but he killed any shot at the job when he agreed to star as Bond for Kevin McClory's never-made, second re-make of Thunderball, which was supposed to be titled Warhead. This was just prior to Eon and McClory going in for six years of lawsuit fun to decide once and for all, who owned the rights to the Bond francise. I think McClory may still own the rights to SPECTRE, not sure on that one. By the time all that was cleared up, Timothy Dalton had moved on, and Pierce Brosnan was available, so we got his set of films. Adrian could still do the job, but I really think his association with McClory makes him poison to Michael Wilson and Barbara Brocoli.
