Firearm Bans Under Obama

I can't say what's in the man's heart--though I know he himself owns several guns and has had a license to carry them in the past--but I can say he put two Justices on the Supreme Court who were very well-regarded by the NRA. And one of the Justices he replaced was the lynch pin vote on Heller--you know, the case that had 4 liberal judges voting against the idea that the 2nd Amendment protected an individual right?

I think to proclaim Trump not a supporter of the 2nd Amendment because he's going to push a bump-stock ban is to not see the forest for the trees.

I'm not happy about the bump stock ban, and I'd rather it not happen, but if Trump has to cede a little ground to win the bigger battle, so be it.

It's possible that there are actual instances of crimes or corruption out there and we just can't hear it over the din of crazy that's been playing the past 21 months or so. Worse than Hitler, or Stalin, Putin's agent, Trump meeting worse than 9/11 or Pearl Harbor, worse than treasonous, what about Stormy, Trump collusion with Russia to steal election from Clinton, Saudi Arabia or Russia investment before he won, radicalized more people than Usama Bin or Islam, Scaramucci and Omoroca and poor judgment and high turnover rate, Sessions only lasted 63 Scaramuccies what's going on? . . .

I'll try to write slowly and use small words: when someone debunks lies about Obama with facts that does not necessarily mean they are Obama supporters. It's called living in the real world. I know that's really hard to follow, but try really hard.

I don't generally defend his Obama's leftist policies so much as point out that some of his policies weren't as leftist as you right wingers seem to recall...like how the right always misremembers how the Southern border was more open under him than past presidents when, in fact, the opposite is true.

...although it's possible I may have defended one or two of his "leftist" policies from time to time. I consider myself barely right of center...not far right.

He’s not. He’s pro-Trump. He only cares about himself and how people feel about him. He’ll say and do anything that benefits himself based on his own reasoning. Why do you think he gets upset at the media, they report negative things about him. He’s even said it himself. He only wants good news about himself because he’s incapable of dealing with anything that impacts him negatively. It’s probably why he’s against the Mueller investigation, it generates bad news about him.

His supporters need to understand that. He doesn’t care about the same things you do and he’ll use and abandon all of it if it benefits him in the slightest or for the briefest time. I think some of you are starting to realize that, you just don’t want to admit it out of pride or that it hurts to realize how badly you were tricked. Now that I think about it, it's probably because I acknowledge the fact that global warming exists that makes me a liberal in his eyes...which means three quarters of all Republicans are liberal in his eyes.
