Including agents on POTUS, the First Lady, and the VP's security details. Two men offered a series of bribes to ingratiate themselves with secret service members, including free lodging at apartments in their building. One of them is believed to have connections with Pakistani Intelligence, the ISI. https://www.yahoo.com/news/secret-service-agents-suspended-bribery-plot-170142622.html
From what was recovered in the apartment, feels like this is only the tease for a much bigger story that's not fully reported yet
You've gotta be shitting me. If you're in an agency like the U.S. Secret Service , you have to know--you have to know--that you're susceptible to being co-opted by foreign intelligence, etc. I would've thought they'd even go through special training to keep them aware of any warning signs and have to follow very strict rules against accepting any kind of gifts from anyone. There is no credible defense against this. If the agents have been accepting gifts, they're toast. I've worked in positions where I had authority to decide purchases from suppliers, etc., and I was leery about letting their reps even take me out to lunch. Hookers or weekend getaways? Fuhgedaboutit.
Maybe if Biden had forgiven student loan debt we wouldn't be in this situation. Those agents probably did the math and realized they could never hope to pay it all off.
I'm gonna have to dig for the link to the NPR piece I heard on the radio about this, but suffice it to say the Secret Service is as messy as any other government office and a lot of agents leave outta there being highly disillusioned. This doesn't surprise me in the least bit.
My friend is a Pfizer rep who calls on doctor's practices. She's always buying lunch for the staff, etc. This seems problematic to me.
It is. There's been a number of news stories about doctors prescribing medications to their patients simply because the stuff was pushed on them by drug reps, even though there were cheaper and more effective drugs available.
That, and the fact that drug companies are legally allowed to advertise prescription drugs in your country. Note: this post may cause bleeding from the eyes, anal warts, severe vomiting and general malaise. Please consult your doctor before reading it.
Except he’s lying. His imaginary friend is not doing so legally. There is plenty wrong with the US, the US government, US healthcare, and US prescription medication and it’s advertising. But, what TLS is suggesting is already against the law and Pfizer should be made aware if anyone is in their employ and doing that.
I'm not lying, Jenee. If I had said "That Jenee, she's a rocket scientist!" Then I'd be lying. In this case, I'm not.
They are friends. Our kids go to Catholic school together. Why are you so hostile? That time of the day?
Oh I get it now, hot latina wife is like a canadian girlfriend. I thought they did not like latinos? Maybe it is just the men who are muy bueno. Forgive my spanish, it has been a long time.
Should I tell him that the girls I know use dude to refer to females so it only shows he is a bit behind.
