Mother fucker. Someone sent me a butt-ton of photos for work. The problem is, he sent them to me in .zipx format. As far as I can tell, there isn't a free app to extract zipx. My customer is too fucking cheap to get it for me but I don't know if my boss can get it for me to install on my customer's computer. So I was going to just download a trial version to my personal computer, extract everything and git'r dun. Like everything else this weekend, that's easier said than done. Does anyone know a free (even a 30 day trial) extractor that'll handle .zipx files?
I found this, but make no claims about its usefulness. http://www.downloadatoz.com/utility_directory/powerarchiver-2010-free/
Tell that moron to get 7zip. It's fucking 2010. Paying for file compression is being stuck on stupid.
7-zip was my first thought as well because that's what I use, but I checked and was disappointed to find out it didn't handle zipx.
