    MY OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have my office back.

    :yeehaw:

Oh for all that is good and holy I have my office back. No more working at the breakfast bar. No more needing the beat the kids into silence so I can be on a conference call*. This is an amazing moment of joy. As soon as the slacker cleans up her side of it I will post pics. With but a few simple changes (new shelving units, ripping out a fire place) this place looks completely different. It feels so much more open now.

*=Ok I admit it. The call was just a weak rationalization. :ramen:

ITS DONE!!!! The goddamned nightmare, after 90 fucking days, is done!!! This week felt like my work nightmare of a home remake over show, but its DONE!!!!

    :j: :j: :j:

This job took 45 days longer than planned / it should have. We still have a bit of finish work left. A couple of base boards haven't been painted. The wains coating, chair rail, and crown molding in the master bedroom has been put off. The yard is sodded but no landscaping as of yet. I have to get to home depot and grab a few parts to repair the sprinkler system. The back pool deck is sort of repaired. That will be finished Tuesday.

But other than that, it's done. I can walk all over my house nekkid as a jay bird and not have to worry about dirt on my feet. No longer will every surface in this place be covered in a layer of dust.

BONUS: I got a pool table.

I get to rest for the rest of tonight and then I'm back in full throttle mode. Why you may ask? Because tomorrow night I'm throwing my wife the mother of all birthday / Halloween parties.

The place looks fantastic. No it wasn't worth it. Yes I will post pics some time soon.
