Got to level 5, but nearly all my questions were on Europe and the map was too small to be sure what I was clicking on!
Ooh. I edged out Summer (barely). In the initial round I had lotsa frustrating ones, where I knew it was one of two locations and I consistently picked the wrong location. Then in the intermediate part I probably could've done better if I'd played not to lose instead of playing to win--know the country, so just click center-mass rather than try to remember where Uffizzi Palace is. In the final round that's pretty much what I was doing--if I knew the country. Pretty fun all in all.
Second try, made level 8; 284,572; 103 IQ. Africa ate my lunch on Level 8. I'd guess Oceana or South America and it'd be Africa. Although I dunno if I agree with the scale they're using. If I got a 103 on an IQ test, that would mean I was barely above average intelligence. I don't know if I buy that the average person would perform at this level. And if Summer got a 90 IQ, she's a little...slow. And thelurker is mildly retarded. (In other words, I think the scale is off. Please don't hit me ladies. )

1st try: Lvl 8 263,090 pts My 'traveller IQ' = 100 Meh. I did pretty good with the far east, europe, eastern europe, and the US. Africa and Malaysia, not so much.
I won't even do this. My sense of "where things/places are" and direction is non-existant. EDIT: Ok, I did it. And sure enough, didn't make it past level one!
I played this stupid thing 6 times this morning (even after I said I wouldn't do it at all! ) And never got past level 3.
This time I got final score 561,483 final level 12 IQ 132. Still didn't pass level 12. That one is really hard! I realize, I don't really know where anything in Australia is.

played it again, got to lvl 10, Geo IQ = 117, slightly lower score ~420,xxx. Once you get to the expert levels, it's a crapshoot, unless you're a total Geography Geek (I'm only a partial one ).

Level 10/IQ=120 on second go. You score better if you go faster. If you're going to be wrong, it's better to be wrong without thinking about it too long.
Level 8, but I had the same problem as everyone else mentioned, maps too small etc. I don't know how I can be 22km from Big ben but 146km from Buckingham Palace! I'll have a second pop at it later.
I cant believe a Uni would block anything. When i used to work in an office some things like puzzle sites and im sure nowadays social networking stuff would be banned in the same place. But at a University? that bloody terrible...
