Actually, TP is a change in habits. People were pooping at work and school, and now poop at home. There's no shortage of commercial rolls of TP.

So people are panic buying ammo?

They seem to be panic buying guns, given the crazy inrush of demand. And a lot of them are first time gun buyers.

I am seeing a lot of people at my indoor shooting range who are first time shooters, thus I assume they are first time gun buyers. I totally support this! Nothing worse than buying a gun and not being proficient with it. A few days ago a group of Mexicans came in and only one spoke English, who happened to be the gun owner. They all shared one lane and he was teaching them how to shoot safely.
That's the smart, safe way to do things especially in the suburbs. Lots of black females learning how to shoot lately, probably single moms who want to take advantage of their Constitutional right to defend their families.

Glad to hear people are practicing and learning safe firearm handling. Maybe this will turn into some decent shooting competition, the fudds around here suck.

Well, I don't poop in public bathrooms unless it's a medical emergency, so that's why I panic bought TP.

Actually, I buy mine at Sam's, so technically every time I buy it, I'm panic buying.

Y'ever been sprayed in the face with one? Pretty damn effective at making you sit down and be quiet.

I didn't know racoons sprayed, but since they're related to cats I guess it's likely.

How is posting about ammo shortages less than 2 weeks before the general election not suggestive of riots coming soon?

To be clear, I don't think the majority of people who are panic buying are doing it in preparation for some sort of Boogaloo (at least the current wave of it), but that the panic buying was started by those types. Everybody else saw what was happening and piled on. I could be wrong though. I did my panic buying right when they announced that Trump won in 2016.

Why don't you poop in public bathrooms? If it's an exceptionally nasty one :yuck: it's better that you do it there than in your own home I would think.

Your colon must be expansive. After the first coffee I'm headed for the head at work. Are work johns considered public? Home Depot has excellent facilities with few users I've found. In an emergency head in there. I haven't checked Lowe's.

Coffee has never made me poop. Everyone is different, and pooping is not "one scheisse fits all" I guess.
Now if Jim Carrey poured Turbolax in my coffee it might! As for Home Depot pooping:

No definitive studies, but the caffeine may increase peristalsis encouraging movement. Do you drink decaf?

I've never had to poop more than three or four times a week...sometimes less. My body uses every part of the animal.

I was pooping about thrice weekly around the time I developed a tumor and had some digestive organs removed and re-routed. Yada yada yada now I eat a high fiber diet and drink PEG3350 to keep me as regular as possible to avoid any more complications as much as possible.

Yay, my neighbor found a box of .44 special wadcutter reloads he didn't need, and gifted me of them.

.44 Special is weirdly interesting to me, despite my brain repeatedly reminding me it's just a bad choice (unless one already owns a gun in that caliber, or one is looking for light loads to shoot in a Magnum).

The other day, I was looking over a Ruger GP-100 in .44 Special (which Ruger has already discontinued, BTW) and toying with the thought of buying it. Then I remembered, I have a Smith & Wesson Model 69 which is the same size, has the same capacity, is lighter, is arguably a better gun all around, and is a .44 Magnum, which gives me the option of shooting Specials if I really want to. There's literally nothing I could do with that GP-100 that I couldn't do better with the gun I already have.

Hmmm. Maybe a Charter Arms Bulldog...
