For the fact that NH is getting homosexual civil unions, I know some people who will be quite pleased and others still who will feel patronized. Until they get actual marriages some of them will never be happy and even then it will piss of more straights. Can't win really.

All unions should be equally valid civil unions insofar as they pertain to rights, law, government, IRS, etc.

Terms like marriage should be solely church based and mean nothing legally.
