Warmest salutations, to everyone who isn't Sokar. I live in Ireland. I'm politically left-wing, and enjoy travelling, reading, films and keeping fit. See my book list here and my film list here. I might stick around if you're nice to me.
Some good reads on there, save for the Chariots of the Gods series, which are awful and have been largely debunked as to be formed from random conjecture and inaccurate archealogical information manipulated by the author. There are better tomes on the anchient aliean idea out there.
You'll notice I've given them low ratings. I was into that whole area as a young teenager. Not so much any more.
I read Chariots of the Gods when I was a teen. I don't know if I believed it so much I just ... accepted it as ... a statement, as it was my first exposure to alternative ideas - not religious or scientific. For what it was, and as a teen reading it, it wasn't "bad". If I saw someone reading the book, I would definitely encourage them to look at more updated information.
