I thought "The Witcher" was hard to keep up with. This is bonkers. First off, there are a lot of characters to keep up with. Secondly, it's about time travel, and the show splits up into three or more times...so that's all those characters x 3 or more. Then they introduce an alternate universe, also with three or more times, so that's all the characters x 6 or more. Finally, they throw in quantum physics, so all the characters x 6 or more are simultaneously alive and dead... ...oh, and it's in German. I'm totally confused and totally digging it.
I just finished the first episode. I've been sitting on this one for a while because I wasn't ready to start a new series. I keep hearing good things about this so I'm giving it a try.
I'm on the sixth episode now and I'm glad I stuck with it. It was a slow ride getting to some of the revelations, and I'm still kind of confused on who's who and the overdubbing is distracting, but I like this show so far.
I have one more episode to go in second season. This show reminds me a lot of many time travel shows/movies, but I think it mostly reminds me of 12 Monkeys. It lacks a lot of humor though. I think both MILFs are bitches in their own right, but Hannah really takes the cake. I still like this show quite a bit though.
So I’m on the third season. The third episode, I think. Catalina is in the late 1980s young Jonas is n an alternate world, older Jonas is in 1888 with bortoch, Magnus, what’s her name and another what’s her name. Charlotte is in the future with her daughter. Peter is in 2020 , ironically in a post apocalyptic world and young Jonasis still trying to save Mickel even though everything basically hinges on Michael not making it.
The first two seasons were great. The third season tailed off some, but overall I still enjoyed it. Excellent writing.
