No, I'm saying that in this instance degrees are irrelevant - racism is racism, period, and by excusing it in any form, you are supporting it.
Can you explain why you believe the actual amount of harm caused to be irrelevant, instead of just asserting it over and over like a 3-year-old in a sandbox?
Whoring to the idiot generation. Anyway, to the case at hand: They should bring back the public stocks for cunts like this.
Regardless, death by getting killed by another black person is one of the (if not THE) leading cause of death among black males in the 18-24 year old age group. You'd think there would be thousands of protests/looting/rage by black people over this fact going 24/7. But that might be turning a mirror toward themselves and the pot calling the kettle.......well you know. But this is too difficult, and the problem unsolvable. Just throw more money at the problem/look the other way and endure the occasional civil unrest when a black person is killed by someone other than another black.
Have you figured out what your 90% statistic means yet? Oh, and the majority of murder victims age 10-24 are males (and guess who does the majority of the killing?), at over 6x more than females: Why aren't you doing something about that?
Because it doesn't affect me - I'm way past 24. But then again I'm not getting outraged and looting when somebody from outside that (or my) demographic group commits the same crime even if at a much, much lower rate.
As usual, you miss the point. What should affect you is the fact that 90.3% of murders are committed by men. That's an accurate statistic, as opposed to the one you've been dick-waving about. Your species commits 90.3% percent of the murders in this country, and you're not doing anything about it except playing "Ooo, look at the violent black people!"
You're right. In any city that is exactly 50 percent black and 50 percent white exactly half the murders will be committed by whites. I'm sure this is the case, and statistics will prove this no doubt.
And 9 out of 10 of them will be committed by men, regardless of color. And you sit there and do nothing.
I do, too. And I believe that systemic racism is worse than individual racism. There's no gray area, it's a conversation about two different things, both of which are forms of racism.
I don't. I do, however, think that when there are still numerous forms of anti-black racism that cause real, concrete and lasting damage to people's lives, going "Waaaaaahhh, there's a media double standard that doesn't actually hurt white people in any way but makes me feel bad" is petty and childish.
I don't laugh much at your jokes, but this one was pretty good. AND I have an oldfella-like story to go along with it! When I was a teaching assistant and grading lab exercises for dozens of students, I would sometimes mark one student wrong and another student right for having essentially the same answer (these were qualitative responses). They'd come up to the front to complain, the one who had been marked right being all righteous for the one who had been marked wrong. I'd look at them and say "well, it looks like you actually both had the question wrong, I guess I have to take your point away" and BAM--they'd skedaddle right off.
I think we should report all murders. I think we should report all traffic deaths. We'll either end up with people realizing how much stupid death is around us, or we'll become numb to it.
You say this, but the post you made that started this off indicated that at the very least, you don't see racism as a problem. And you've illustrated my point yet again, showing that you have an extremely narrow view of what racism actually is, and that you are a-okay with double standards and racism as long as it doesn't fit into your narrow view of what racism is.
Spike Lee once said when asked about the "double standard" of racism that black people can't be racist because they are not the ones in power. I guess they are always the underdog and anything they do is just sticking it to the man or leveling the playing field. Even when they are in charge on whatever level (common these days in certain companies and professions) they aren't really in charge so again whatever they do that seems racist is not really racist. Whatever Spike!
Spike didn't say it quite right. Blacks can be racist, and plenty of them are. But they have less ability to act on it in a significantly harmful way to large populations.
Well they sure are giving it a 100 percent effort in some cities/corporations/etc. I doff my hat to their enthusiasm.
