We all know breakfast is the important meal of the day, at least according to pro-breakfast propagandists.

Really, though, how often do you skip it?

unless i'm awake before 9am i don't have breakfast as i'm not hungry.

if i'm going to the gym i tend to have half a pint of smoothie and half a pint of pure orange juice through.

Cup of coffee and a fruit-grain bar on the workdays. Usually nothing on the weekend since I sleep in.

    I don't.

Even when I sleep in on weekends, I eat within a couple of hours and it's always breakfast food.
On weekdays, breakfast is on my morning schedule right after "get up" and "grumble incoherently." :D

On weekdays, I'm usually rushed to get somewhere in the morning, so I eat something quick like cereal or a Power Bar, along with coffee or tea.

On weekends, I usually sleep in and eat whenever I wake up. It's not usually a breakfast food, though.

I like my breakfast, otherwise the day drags. The reason it is important is because it gets burned off. Dinner on the other hand does not get as good a chance to get burned off. And more people find time for it. :)

I never used to eat breakfast at all, but now I make myself eat a little something even if I'm not hungry just to keep my body in the same routine so I'll eat lunch at the right time, then snack at the right time, and then I'll be ready to exercise after work. Otherwise, if I skip it, it fucks up my whole world and I don't feel quite right. I usually try to have at least 20oz of water to drink and either a nutri-grain bar or a piece of fruit to eat during the week. On weekends, I'm usually hungover so I'll just have a couple crackers or something. Every once in a while I'll have a weekend morning when I'm actually awake and coherent and then we'll go to IHOP or Village Inn or something where I'll have french toast covered in a ridiculous amount of maple syrup.

The kind of breakfasts I make, it's probably a good thing to skip.

    They're huge.

I sometimes skip breakfast if I'm in a rush... but normally I have Shredded Wheat or Weetabix with soya milk.

    Keeps me regular. :borg:

I will drink an orange juice during the week and sometimes we fix breakfast on Sundays (eggs, bacon, biscuits, or burritos :D).

    Saturdays are up for grabs.

I don't generally eat big in the mornings because the thought of food makes me nauseous. (and no I'm not pregnant, it has been this way for years) If I've been awake for a few hours than I can eat, but I need time.

I generally can't eat or drink for about an hour after I wake up. Mostly I'll have breakfast after I've been to the gym, but if I don't go I won't have breakfast at all.

    I rarely skip it.

Days I go into the office: Coffee and a couple Pop-Tarts
Weekends/Days I work from home: Coffee and a bowl of Post Honey Bunches of Oats (Honey-Roasted variety)!

Never have breakfast, because if I do it has to be a bacon sandwich minimum. Only times I will are when my Mum is staying over. Naturally, should I be entertaining a different kind of female houseguest ( ) I'll make her breakfast so will get some for myself as well.

Other than that, it's just coffee until 12pm when I have lunch.

If I don't eat within an hour of getting up, I turn into a total Grinch...
Usually porridge sweetened with a half-teaspoon of honey, sometimes a bowl of Rice Krispies or Weetabix just to ring the changes, but always with a large glass of orange juice.
On Saturdays we sometimes have a big fry-up which is brunch for me (usually the last thing I eat all day, too ;) ), breakfast for the other two.
