I usually rely on range pickups for brass as I'm pretty frugal. Often I'll count my empty casings on the living room carpet and grin as I've always brought back more than I took out.

This time, however, I had a net loss of 80 cases. Couldn't beat the old guy who scrambles for non-reloaders' brass like fat kid on a Snickers and some of my cases back some split necks and honorably tossed into the scrap bucket.

So I've never bought brass before. I've checked and there's some sites out there, but I figured I should ask here since I'm not in a rush and I may pick up a bargain.

I'd like to buy about 1k of once-fired brass .223 brass. I only shoot about once a month so I figure that much would last me at least a year what with supplementing it with pickups.

    So, enlighten me. :ramen:

FYI...there is a show coming to the Araba Shrine Temple at the end of the month. So you should be able to score some there.
