Serious answer? Because the title likely wasn't removed. There are several posters who have some Admin capabilities in the event the board crashes and needs fixing. It's always good to have one or two people who can deal with that should Order2Chaos be away. Other than that ability to access the server when it's down, though, they're regular posters. At least, that's how it was when I was still doing my thing here.

Like Volpone I remember it from some thread jack of another thread but can't for the life of me remember which. Volpone might remember.

Ideally in my mind every long term poster who could be trusted to not abuse them should have mod powers. Most of the time they're just used for cleaning up bot posts and the like anyway.
