Ikea

Ikea has some decent light fixtures and lamps and whatnot, now that I think of it.

But we don't buy "serious" furniture there. We used it for those tall, narrow shelves for CD/DVDs, our TV stand, and a couple low-end dressers in our guest room.

There's also some serviceable cookware to be found relatively cheaply there, too. Stuff like cake tins, frying pans, and like that.

The IKEA in Costa Mesa is large enough that the entire town could live in it comfortably.

I was gonna try to work a Mewa joke into that post, but the brain wasn't working.

Is that why he's posting less?

I particularly enjoy the Swedish meatballs, though Silk Spectre doesn't like dining there.

I was just fitting the hardware in prep for assembling my shelves over the weekend. Yes the shelves are particle board, but the frame is definitely solid wood.

Had two extra shelves made, added the lights.

Nice shelves.

Not what I would put in it, but, still... nice.
