In general, people who want to leave simply scramble their password. I've never known an owner or admin to delete an account, or at least I don't remember that happening.

Yes, but that's a bit different from what this thread seeks to discuss. Surely a cartoon series isn't the same as images of a dead child? I find the comparison distasteful.

That said, I don't find the OP's argument with any merit. I don't see how it is political point scoring to be concerned about human beings suffering. While there may be disagreement over how to deal with the crisis, I find it it disturbing that someone thinks it's just about politics to give a shit.
