CRAZY SHIT! I'm up late, and I suddenly hear some crazy noise next door, like someone breaking down the door. I grab a weapon and stick my head outside (I live in an apartment complex), turns out its the police. My neighbors may be missing, and I guess there was blood on the walkway in front of their place. Its pretty unsettling. They're a nice gay couple and probably the quietest neighbors I ever had.
Remends me of my apartment in Colorado Springs. I heard weird noises, found keys in the hallway, strands of long, thick black hair, a small dog running loose looking confused, etc. Turns out the hot Latina down the hall got kidnapped by her boyfriend. My neighbor Rodney and I helped her out a few minutes later when the boyfriend let her go temporarily to let her dog back in, saying it would attract attention. The dude fell for her ruse. Needless to say, she let the dog back in then hid in my apartment. The boyfriend realized quickly that the jig was up when she never came back, and hauled ass in his jeep. Cops showed up, yada yada. But it's nice helping people out. Karma was not smiling on Rodney however.....a few weeks late he was robbed and beaten. The robbers literally kicked the shit out of him. It had nothing to do with the kidnapping incident, just a random mugging. He almost died, and has a huge T-shaped scar running nipple-to-nipple and down to his navel. His organs (what's left of them) were all stomped in pretty bad. Good times, good times!
