Aw crap! It's probably been Farked.

Well, IIRC the Greek Mac was two beef patties, letuce, tomato and a yogurt dressing on flat bread, and the McArabia was pretty much the same but with chicken and an "Arabic dressing"...presumably tahina.

The Tamago Double Mac is from Japan and is basically a double cheeseburger with a fried egg and bacon.

I didn't really recognize most of the things I saw on the menu at the McD's in China...weird, weird stuff.

I did manage to get my milkshake, though!

Well in Old Blighty, the only viable alternative to starvation is pub grub!

I was in Egypt for a month. I was tired of Schwarma, roasted pidgeon, and dog and camel ka-bobs.

Sure, provided that I can point out the fact that yanks do NOT go abroad only to check out Burger Kings and McDonald's.

^ Incidently, you been to any other Middle Eastern/North African cities? I've never been to Cairo but understand its a bit of a filty shithole away from Giza.

Ive heard the same about Cairo, apparently you get mega hassled by people wanting to sell you things. I know a few people who have been to the valley of the kings/Luxor and they absolutely loved it. The place, the people and the culture are all great apparently

Spent most of the time in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Sharm El Sheik. Outside of Egypt, I spent some time in Istanbul.

Like lots of big cities, I guess it depends on where you are in Cairo. Along the Nile, it's pretty nice, but the farther you go in either direction, it can get kind of shitty. I got lost trying to get to Old Cairo, and ended up in a neighborhood that looked as if it hadn't changed in two thousand years! I half expected Jesus to come walking around the corner!

Overall, Luxor and Aswan are much nicer.
