Technically, a rather severe case of Peripheral Neuropathy. Nerve damage in my legs, due to oxygen deprivation suffered during a bout of severe pneumonia that left me comatose for 5 weeks in 2008.

Well, it happened in 2008, and I only applied for disability this year, and only began receiving it this August. If I were in it for the money (Money I paid into the system for just such a purpose, btw) I'd likely have filed a claim much earlier.

Most people are simply not willing to say the same insulting things face to face than they are on a message board, twitter, in the newspaper, and other indirect venues.
