Is Anyone That Posts Here Afraid of Me or Feel Threatened By Me? Speak Up.

I was banned for a month and warned other times for so called "veiled threats" against other members and IIRC once against the board itself.

Does anyone here feel threatened by me or afraid of me in any way whatsoever?

Lets say it is a specific poster here I name and announce that I'm going to

1) Come to your house or place of business and kick your ass.

2) Hack your computer and damage your ability to post or something like that.

In short would you feel threatened by any specific threat directed by me at you in any way.

Speak up. Be honest.

I believe if I pissed you off, you would attempt real life retribution. I don't believe you would travel to my town to personally enforce that retribution, but anything that could be done as easily as picking up a phone and attempting to contact my boss. So, yea, in that sense, I feel threatened by you.

I do not feel threatened by you in an way whatsoever. I think you're one of the nicest posters here actually. Why some of these people give you the hard time is the question not the other way around.

Do I feel threatened? No. Mainly because you are an overweight 40 something and less physically fit than I am. Plus, of course, I live abroad.

Do I think that means it wasn't a genuine threat? No.

Do I think that threats, from people who are ultimately strangers, should be ignored by the mods? No, probably not considering that nobody here really knows you personally....and, of course, you've assaulted people before.

Wait, what? You're saying you'd contact someone here's employer? Really, after all that fuss you've made over someone allegedly doing the same to you?

No. I just presented it as an option to cover all the possible threat bases.

What Chup said, I don't feel threatened by you since you are a bumbling failure at life and anything in it, but I do think that you would attempt to carry out your threat. So while I don't feel threatened by you I do believe your threat itself is real.

Do I feel threatened by you? No, and I also don't think you'd say anything like that to me, because while we've disagreed about plenty of things, we've never had an antagonistic relationship.

But I also think that, if one board member makes a threat like the one in your hypothetical -- toward another member, and having the capability to carry it out (i.e. not "Paladin, I'm going to have the Air Force drop a nuke on your house"), that shouldn't be allowed.

A physical threat is not the only threat. And, just because the threat does not result in harm does not mean it's not a threat. Everyone on this board is threatened when you feel a simple phone call to someone's employer will make you feel better.

I don't trust you. You're childish, vindictive, and petty. You're posts show that. Those characteristics contribute to my belief that you did call that poster's employer.

I never did that nor was it ever seriously alleged.

I don't feel personally threatened by you, but I do think that your threat to try and do something exists. So yes, the fact that you made an appointment implied threat no matter whether you could or couldn't carry it out should still be treated the same as a real one. The same should apply to any member on here, if I threatened to show up at your school, home, etc. and stated so with the implied threat that it would be to confront you then I should receive the same treatment that you did.

And besides, why would I feel threatened by someone who could defeat their own plan by simply walking away? Just walking.

It wasn't seriously alleged because that person didn't feel "threatened" by the situation. I, however, do. And, ... you can say anything you want, your actions - your posts, speak volumes.
