yes I see! I don't agree with your viewpoint so I am a racist, jingoist and a fascist - I see you are following the leftist playbook like a good little boy - that's so cute!
Reagan? Interesting, some on wordforge would disagree with you and tell you why he was racist, bigoted, etc. and the same for Washington and Jefferson.
Hard to argue that keeping slaves wasn't a racist practice. But Washington and Jefferson were among the most progressive minds of their time, and they built a country rather than destroying it. Trump is in every sense their opposite.
Be careful there are still horrible things that have not yet been combined. Rape Badgers could be a thing. Our chickens could rise up and ram themselves up our asses and that would be flucking clucked. Holy shit, what the hell was in those birthday happy pills, and should I have taken them all at once?
You could also say it is a day ending in Y so you are racist, jingoist, and fascist. It is just three of your constants.
All those good cops are gonna arrest the bad cops... wait and see! wait and see... I mean, it's gotta be happening because there are all those good cops vs just a few bad apples and the entire system can't really be corrupt, can it? Oh well... at least there's all those law 'biding gun owners journeying into cities to help maintain order... right?
But it was interpreted as a call for help. Maybe it was needed, because, who the hell puts a flag on upside down and doesn't notice right away and correct it? BUt, yeah, it's fallen into disuse because we have other ways of communicating distress, like telegraph systems and Twitter.
Exactly. As a means of signaling an emergency, it is outdated enough that the only reason for insisting on that usage is to find an excuse for criminalizing a form of speech.
The original issue of the thread was flying an inverted flag as an indication of symbolic distress, and I pointed out that's not really done. People could start doing it I guess. As far as using it as desecration, the only issue I have is that it could be interpreted as signaling acute distress, and it dilutes the message that is meant to be expressed. However, context is important. If a random flag pole in front of a random building has an inverted flag, it could be done as a from of protest, it could be distress, or it could be whoever put it there wasn't paying attention. However, if a bunch of protesters are carrying inverted flags, that would pretty clearly communicate that it's done in protest, and they shouldn't be prosecuted for it. If I wanted to desecrate a flag in protest, I'd probably set it on fire or draw a dick on it or something
If you do some internet searching on it, you will find that it is done. Much more often (in modern times anyway) than the literal sense, in fact.
Apparently not enough, because there was nothing about space submarines or attack otters. Of the ass.
I'm pretty sure i saw some "conservative" people use it as an avatar during Obama's administration...
