Is Obama ruthless?

To be honest I think that the office of the Presidency has little power in directly controlling our overall economy. To me it's a good thing that our society has so many checks and balances that no one man has this power. In places where actual bonafide dictators/tyrants control the country, they can show you a truly fucked economy. If anyone can provide a direct link to any one president and the size of my wallet, please share it.
