    Bullshit. Were that true, the war would've ended in 1861 under McClellan. Or any of the other generals who were unable to win. Only Grant possessed the vision, determination, skill, and willingness to gamble that it took to stomp the South. He took command and promptly whipped Lee (and every other Confederate commander he faced).
