“We dread nightfall”: Voices from Gaza Members of MSF's team in Gaza share their experiences living and working under bombardment and siege. Source: https://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/latest/we-dread-nightfall-stories-gaza
How come Hamas has no problem recording their attacks on October 7th, and there's no shortage of phone videos of screaming and crying Gazan kids, but somehow these atrocities committed by the IDF don't seem get recorded? "Here's a bunch of dead bodies all stacked up, Israel did it, trust us bro"
There's no equivalence here, I'm perfectly willing to condemn "heinous deeds" no matter who commits them. You are the one shilling for the Israeli murderers.
I don't want dead babies. You know how you avoid that? You wear uniforms and stage your attacks well away from civilian centers. That is if you're not HOPING for dead babies to use as propaganda.
Study: Someone bet against the Israeli stock market in the days before Hamas' Oct. 7 attack Source: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/israel-hamas-attack-stocks-short-selling-october-7-study/ This goes back to what I posted a few days ago that Netanyahu, and clearly others, knew the attack was coming and planned around it. Some for, and some against, it seems. It is a sickness to bet on the outcome of a war in order to profit from it.
Are you being remotely serious? There are umpteen videos of the IDF carrying out crimes, and you still manage to excuse them anyway. The ubiquity of footage is what's new about this situation. But of course, they are killing the journalists in Gaza at an unprecedented rate and they won't let more in unless they control the footage. So as regards this massacre, there's no live footage, just the aftermath. Here are some other incidents which you'll be totally fine with though. Indiscrimate shelling of homes to celebrate Hanukkah. Raiding a Mosque (in the West Bank), desecrating it and using loudspeakers to play Hanukkah songs. Bulldozing graveyards. Intervening to stop a parademic treating a patient. Blowing up the Faculty of Medicine in a university, another controlled explosion. They're actually attacking a hospital in the West Bank as well, and since you've already indicated a different stance towards that part of the world, perhaps you can persuade yourself to consider that as problematic.
Are you being purposely obtuse? Read the fucking words. These were not accidental deaths from airstrikes. These were fucking executions.
According to some unnamed person's account, absent any kind of corroboration. And of course nobody would lie about something like that.
There are videos of the aftermath with the bodies and more than one witness quoted. But if you don't believe the story, that's one thing. Giving it the usual bullshit about how Hamas should wear uniforms just indicates that you don't give a shit and are repeating the canned response, since use of uniforms is not remotely relevant to the allegation.
Oh, and I just love this little bit of non-logic. It's the people complaining about the dead babies who really want dead babies. For propaganda. Those falling over themselves to excuse the killers are the innocent ones. Instead, we just just be quiet, ignore the very obvious character of the situation and trust that the baby-killing is necessary.
They don't care if it's true or not, they only care about bombarding people with endless headlines and out of context photos and videos to reinforce their "Israel bad" narrative. By the time this is debunked they'll be screeching about some completely different manufactured outrage.
It's like Dr. Martin Luther King once said, "everyone be quiet, if no one complains, everything will work out just fine."
Bodies can be staged, and people lie. At this point you can't believe anything you didn't witness yourself. And uniforms are essential to the subject of keeping civilians out of the conflict. It's not bullshit to be inconvenient to your bias.
Dude, you know who wouldn’t go this far, the fucking Taliban and Al Qeada. Congratulations, you’re defending people worse than the 911 terrorists.
I'm not excusing anyone. I'm questioning the tactic of positioning yourself among civilians when you stage your attacks. You KNOW what will happen, so you must either want that outcome, or just not care.
So when were you last in the Gaza Strip to analyse the Hamas tactics? Because it surely sounds like you don't apply that principle when talking about those.
"They want us to shoot the kids!!" "Well, then it's OK to shoot the kids!" Said no person who loves kids.
Mate, if we were pro-child killing, you'd have so many holes in you I could use you to drain pasta. Lucky for you, it's only your arguments that are like a sieve.
What about shooting the guy who launches RPGs at you while standing in proximity to kids? What do you do about that? Don't give me some mealy-mouthed, apologistic doublespeak or deflect with some past incident. You have an imminent problem, now solve it.
Dunno what I'd do in that scenario. That scenario is not the one mentioned in the news article though. Which you seem determined to avoid addressing. For some reason.
