When Trump goes on trial everyone will get cross-examined. What sort of questions would you ask that might discredit Hutchinson's testimony that would fall within the realm of proper trial cross-examination? I'll give you a hint, it wouldn't include any of the table-pounding, foaming at the mouth rants of Jim ("I saw NOTHING) Jordan.
And Jordan isn't on the committee because he was on the phone with Trump during the insurrection, and forwarded legal theories about overturning the election on Jan 5th - per Mark Meadows emails. He is definitely one of the targets of the investigation. But it's not fair because the criminal doesn't get to scream and throw poo during the hearing.
Bring in the secret service officer who was and ask them if Trump tried to grab the wheel. Right now this is just hearsay.
The Republican party disagrees with you on this and basically want to throw her out of the party because of it.
The "whatabouts" in the GOP and elsewhere conveniently overlook the fact that while the committee may only have two non-Democrats on it, the overwhelming majority of the people giving testimony are Republicans. Many of them are Trump's own people.
Okay he denies it. So what? I've already noted that that titillating bit of testimony may be the least important part of her testimony. I guess if you're desperate to support Trump even the slightest "gotcha" will do...
The thing I love is how Trump, and by proxy his supporters, discredits them by saying that they all sucked, are RINOs, etc. I don't understand how Republicans don't realize that either all these Republican witnesses are generally telling the truth or Trump basically is a completely awful judge of character and hired an entire administration of people who sucked. (Yes, porque no los dos?) I also don't understand how after the five-millionth time Trump has thrown someone under the bus how he manages to engender any loyalty whatsoever, let alone the cult-like levels of it.
You do realize you are arguing that Democrats are being unfair about how unfair the Republicans are being, don't you? But, yes, you are right on the fence.
You should be. The rest of us have no idea what you think because what you type is a solid block of contradictions in which you type on post showing you support a liberal idea, then type 50 posts showing why you can't support that liberal idea.
In his defense most adults never know what the fuck teenagers are thinking when they do and say stupid shit. It is an assumption that they were thinking in the first place.
Look at all the smokers who think they're the ones who won't get cancer. Look at all the beaten wives who tell themselves "he'll never do it again, this was a one off mistake...okay, two....three....four.....". Self-deception is a helluva waterslide.
I think you're getting your Tereun account and your Federal Farmer account mixed up. Then again, this knowledge explains so much about each poster's posts ...
I dunno, psychology has largely debunked multiple personality disorder, and that's what it would take for FF to have an out-and-proud transwoman living in his head.
That's crediting FF with a personality. If Tererun is in his head at least she's got lots of room for furniture.
I didn't even take it as a second personality. Just a troll with an alternate troll account. S/he just messed up this time by crying about abuse on the wrong account. Then again, I never read Tererun's posts, so it's possible she's as whiney as FF.
It’s interesting. One of the ways former conservative now-Trumpists got around the cognitive dissonance of Trump embracing/being subservient to Putin was to completely ignore it and instead go anti-anti-Putin. So don’t try and defend Trump or Putin but nitpick and argue every little thing with those who were upset with Trump selling us out to the Russians. I’m noticing that as reality is finally crashing in on Trump some conservatives are doing the same thing. They claim to not be pro-Trump but they are anti-anti-Trump.
He hates the people they hate. And he's the first president to tell them it's OK to be an absolutely garbage human being -- to encourage them to wallow in their deepest, trashiest instincts.
It’s all well and good to be sorry after the fact. The question is, what will he do to make reparations?
Let's hope we see more of this over time. It's our best bet against the yawning chasm of civil war that we are facing.
