    ^There's a donut shop in or near pretty much every station that I visited in the Tokyo/Yokohama areas.

    For the whole trip, the only time I was in a car was on the bus from the airport. Other than that, I took the train everywhere, and I never missed having a car. I don't think I ever encountered a line where the trains didn't run at least every 15 minutes. Most ran every 8 minutes, and the busier lines ran every 4 minutes, so I never had to wait very long at all.

    I hear that driving over there is a Nightmare, and finding parking is even worse!
