Honestly. I can't wait for sexbots. Then maybe men might realize women are human as well.

Without reading any of that, my point is that if men had an outlet for sex, an outlet that isn't a female human, then maybe men might not think women only exist for men to have sex.

The guys who get all excited about the idea of sexbots really haven't considered that in our present day it's much more common and open for women to have mechanical aids.

If sexbots ever become commonplace, it's likely to be from women who can't be bothered with the BS of us biological men anymore.

That’s possible. But, I think … most women, maybe not all, but I think most women prefer the emotional connection when engaging in sex. Whereas men, … don’t seem to care.

At least …, that’s been my experience. I could be way wrong about how “most men” feel about sex.

No reason for those strong and independent women to worry about what men realize, so long as those men are ignoring them entirely, right?

You know I've never said women are saints. But, you've never heard a man complain about being treated like a sex object.

No, but I have heard them complain about being viewed as walking ATMs. Sex robots would seem to solve both problems, so everyone should be happy about this.

Sure. But, all men have to do is say "I don't have any money". If a woman says "I have a headache", she's a bitch and just looking for an ATM.

50 years ago maybe. Most lawyers I spoke to said I needed to pay child support because I make more than my exhusband.

If you want to cry about more men pay child support, you're cutting off your own nose for the argument about women do not make less than men.

Is that because they are otherwise at home, taking care of children a man helped create? or cleaning a home she shares with a man? a man who doesn't clean because he works full time?

We absolutely have, and there are women in jail for raping men right now.

We never USED to, because of this very stereotype - the same way people used to gloss over celebs fucking underage girls because the stereotype was the girls were into it and just after the money/fame.

This just proves RBG's statement that if a law adversely affects women, it would also adversely affect men.

However, either issue is not as prevalent for men as it is for women. It's just not. As I said before, women are not saints. But, women are human. That isn't the issue. The issue is that men do no seem to understand women are human. Men thin women's only purpose is to be fucked.

They sure as hell don't get to ask me to pay for shit. As for how they handle family life, that's between them and their family. It's not my problem, and certainly not their employer's. What it does do is highlight the fact that the earnings gap is the result of choice, and as such not evidence of patriarchal oppression or somesuch.

you're talking about two different things.

    1. a woman who is grown and "decides" to work part time. This can ONLY be a person who has an additional income to cover basic necessities. One would assume that woman is married and chooses to work part time while the kids are in school. In which case, this is a partnership between married persons so, he has already agreed to pay for her shit.

    2. a woman who has chosen to pursue a career (over staying home and watching kids) and works the exact same job as a man, does exactly (probably more) than he does, and she still is paid less. This scenario is a reality. It has not been debunked. It exists. It doesn't care if you and FF get angry and throw fits. It is.

So long as that partnership remains. I'm all for child support that is spent on the children, but spousal support is an archaic idea that needs to die.

The same qualifications, experience, productivity AND attendance in the same position. Those are the terms, and paying less under those terms due to gender is already illegal. You cannot just average all women and all men and call that comparison evidence of a "wage gap," for reasons I have already stated.

Spousal support as a default, sure. But spousal support in some cases does seem entirely reasonable, especially if one partner makes choices that damage their earning potential based on a promise of continued financial support from the other partner.

That cuts both ways, by the way. I know a guy that threw away a cushy white collar career to stay home and raise his kids after his wife finished her nursing degree and landed a very high paying gig up north.
