So you agree it's NOT "exactly" the same as a swastika.

Then why ask me about the square, when I have already said the swastika shape isn't objectioable?

Still not letting you turn it around. Defend the position you started with, or concede the point.

    never mind...you just did ;)

What point? I had two, and I'm defending both:

    (1) The shape of the swastika is not objectionable.

    (2) The shape of the swastika is significantly more complex and unique than that of a circle or square.

I never said either [1] and [2] weren't true, but nice Packarding again on [2].

You changed my claim that complexity is irrelevant into a false claim that there was no difference in geometric complexity between a square and a swastika. Three times now you've tried to change the argument, and I'm having none of it.

Now address the real issue. Or concede the point.

In a lame, pedantic, trying to make a point by being as picky as humanly possible way, you have a slight point. It's not "exactly" the correct proportions of the approved Nazi swastika symbol as used on their flags and vehicles. It is, however, shaped exactly like a swastika, to anyone with rational perceptions who isn't trying to be pedantic and argumentative.

    :P

I claim the complexity and uniqueness of the swastika is relevant to its significance. You deny this. You compare it to circles and squares. I call that comparison unfounded. And meanwhile, you try to change that disagreement into a disagreement about objectionability, which it isn't.

No, I say that the complexity of the symbol is irrelevant. If it were a square instead of a swastika, then it would be a square that is burned into the psyche.

That being the case, it would be much harder to avoid a square in everyday life.

    Thus, GOSUB Post #18.

    :wtf:

Yeah, and I deny this, for 3 reasons I have repeated several times now. Instead of addressing them, you have repeated that to you, complexity seems irrelevant. Which is your prerogative. Meanwhile, I will continue saying what I have argued for all along.

BTW, Japan DID have a circle as its symbol during WW2. And yet that shape is not "burned into the psyche" the way the swastika is.

Essentially you're saying that the only reason they have a symbol to hate is because it isn't a simple shape. But what if it was?

What if the Nazi flag had been the current flag of Japan?

Again, luckily not, and GOSUB Post #18.

Which ethnic group is the Jewish counterpart regarding hatred of a shape for Japan?

No, there are extra line segments in the building which are not present in a swastika. Your statement is like saying a square is exactly the same as a pentagon. They're not exactly the same, although there is a similarity.

That's because the Jews have a better marketing department.
