No. See this? https://twitter.com/visionrazor/status/388738391115714560 It has the potential to "mislead, confuse, or deceive" people as to the true identity of the person running that account. No bueno. Verboten. Not, in short, permitted according to Twitter's TOS.
The difference between impersonation and parody is apparently completely lost on John Castle. Once again my estimate of his ability as a writer must be downgraded despite the seeming impossibility of that task. How can a writer have no comprehension at all of that difference?
So you are claiming that someone reading that would be deceived into believing it's you, even when it says it's not you at the top of the page? The whole thing is littered with piss takes and this is apparently hard for people to spot? I can only assume that you look at it and see a great deal of familiarity in it.....which again leads me to suspect you are involved.
Castle need not be bothered with it. He's rented Dayton's internet wiping machine for a week in 2022.
It says that it's "not a failed writer." Since I'm not a failed writer, that doesn't make it obvious as not being me. And while that might be obvious to this community, this community is not the entirety of Twitter's followers. WF might understand that it's supposed to be parody -- the wider internet beyond WF won't. WF in-jokes aren't universal, and people in the wider internet aren't going to "get" any intended joke with that account any more than they're likely to just intuitively get "It's important!"
If the visionrazer account is not the real John Castle, and also not a parody per policy, Firemark will easily handle eliminating it. Should be no tribble at all.
It's interesting that you say that. Of course, you frequently lie. Or perhaps that's me. I'm not sure, now, since I frequently lie about frequently lying.
More comedy gold! Even in the absolutely unlikely event that you are not a failed writer, everyone here and who might read that twitter account knows you as a failed writer and that's what matters.
Actually it say not the failed writer. A clear reference to the John Castle who is a writer and that the account is not his. If someone creates a Twitter account called, say, "Dubya Bush" and said in the bio "not the failed president". You'd take that to be the ex-President's real account would you? If so you've got to be a bigger fucking mong than we already think you are. If I read the Twitter feed of someone from say Jersey Shore, I wouldn't know it was the real person or not since I have no clue about American reality shows. But if it contained mockery and say "not the tv star" I'd still be pretty sure it was a parody account.....ya know, because I have brains. I mean look at the thing. Some of the comments like, for instance, "Do buttplugs come in asshole size", are reflective of the real John Castle are they? So those who know you know that you have a butt-plug fixation, or now that you suffer from penile discharge and might get confused? Priceless. What's more, since you yourself admit that you lie a lot, those that know you would presumably think you were lying on both your Twitter feeds anyhow.
So what have you ever successfully sold as a writer? Earning two bob a month with a vaping eBook is hardly a major success is it? At least garamet, Star Trek schlock or not, can say that she has been a reasonably successful living out of her work. What the fuck have you ever achieved? Even Dayton has a steady wage.
Castle would likely have to give up his vaping and booze addictions to find the money for even 5 minutes of Firemark's time. Mind you, if he finds it and they sue Castle may stand to win at least 20cents in damages to reputation!
If Firemark doesn't have that Twitter account down by close of business today, then Castle needs to either fire him, or acknowledge one of the following: 1) it's valid parody 2) it's run by the same person behind the John Castle account.
Yup, failed writer. You can't claim to be something you aren't, therefore you can't claim that the Twitter account isn't a parody of a failed writer, a reputation you have already made for yourself through your own actions and remarks.
Not when it links to something I've written and takes credit for it. What "John Castle" account is that?
Wrong. Actually, that's a reputation that the leftists on this board are insistent upon manufacturing. The world at large disagrees with you.
Oh yes it is. What else are you arguing other than it is a threat to your reputation? If you are going to argue that then it follows that you most prove that there has been damage or that there is a realistic chance of it causing damage. The people that know you are the only people who would care to read it.
That's not what I'm arguing. I'm arguing that it's impersonation, which is a violation of Twitter's TOS. And that's exactly what it is.
