Okay not all of us but his 5 Ways the Internet Convinced Me Not to Vote article certainly echoes some common sentiments.

First off, the full article is hilarious and in no small part because of the images. Second, it didn't really convince me not to vote, but it does a fine job of high-lighting why political discourse tends to suck regardless of medium.

So you shouldn't vote because of internet trolls?

    Color me unconvinced.

And I definitely think anyone who lets someone else convince them not to vote, especially internet trolls, a complete imbecile of the 'needs someone else to wipe his ass because he has no higher brain functions left' type.

Honestly, give the link a view, and have a laugh. :D

To be fair the excerpt applies to many discussions right here on Wordforge as well:

"These people have an arsenal of ready-made talking points, and counters to their opponents'. And they're always looking for a chance to play -- even the most casual mention will make them hunch over their keyboards and hear RPG battle music in their heads."
