Macbook help

    The camera directly above the center of the screen on my macbook has a light on both sides of it. The light on the right side is on now, I don't know why it's on, and I don't know what these lights are for. Anybody have any idea?

    I think if the macbook is open, the camera is on. Mine is always on. I've never noticed two lights before, maybe the second light is for when the camera is taking a picture or recording.

    Yeah, typically lights on those indicate activity.

    The green light on the right hand side means the camera is active. I wasn't aware there was a light on the other side. Google says it's a microphone, which was always my understanding. My MacBook Pro doesn't have a light on the left side, FWIW.
