Man to die for leaving girl to be eaten by gators

You aren't familiar with the recent history of the U.S. prison system. Read up on some of the in-prison activities of gangs such as the Aryan Brotherhood. The things that lifers will do will blow your mind. You can say the death penalty doesn't work, but in the case of the AB, there would have been a lot of lives saved if they would have put those killers to death in the first place. Or do other prisoners not count as lives? The fact is, a killer who is killed will never kill again. That is prevention and it works 100% of the time. Except on the X-files.

I do not agree with this reasoning. Why not get rid of the prison system entirely because of the innocent people that are in jail? Why not let all prisoners go for the sake of not incarcerating an innocent person?
