It's amazing a human being can actually go through this and still come out able to type coherent sentences.
Not for me, this story solidifies my opinion. I don't want to spend two and a half decades conscious yet dead to the world.
1. headbutted 2. bottled 3. head slammed in car door 4. inebriated 5. severely inebriated 6. heroin overdose 7. like, totaly not waking up 8. probably dead (but might not be)
No she wasn't you fucking moron. This man had a brain. Terry's brain had essentially melted from the results of her medical condition. All that was left of that poor woman was a body on auto-pilot. The actual person was long gone.
I remember the autopsy establishing that Terri Schiavo was indeed brain dead. She could not have recognized and responded to a balloon as her mother maintained. She wasn't conscious and paralyzed, she was brain dead. Check the CT scan image.
No that's not what they thought. They thought the guy was a vegetable but they knew his brain was still there and that it was intact. Terry's brain was gone for the most part. Physically gone. There was zero hope for a recovery.
