Speaking of "Ow" at the shooting range... Over the weekend, a shooter down in Southern California apparently experienced an out-of-battery discharge when he was closing the bolt on his .50 Browning rifle. The cause is not yet determined, but suspicions are leaning toward fauly reloaded ammo. The bolt--as you would expect--rocketed backwards and I'm told cut a very deep track (to the bone) from the shooter's right palm to several inches up his wrist. As he was apparently resting his left hand near the breach of the gun, he is said to have sustained significant tissue damage to it as well. Sucks that it happened, but, given the power in the .50 Browning, he's lucky he wasn't killed.
