Apparently there's some backlash going on over how heavily photoshopped Elizabeth Olsen's face is on that cover. And since when does Thanos wear a tank top?
Now that you point it out, she really does look weird. And that's the least of my issues with Thanos:
Black Panther just surpassed Avenger's domestic gross, making it the #1 superhero movie ever. Its also passed Last Jedi. https://www.cbr.com/black-panther-top-grossing-us-superhero-movie/
Chris Evans is leaving the MCU after Avengers 4, so here's my geeky fan theory for how to retire Cap. Spoilered, in case it happens.
Captain Marvel just started filming. Ronin The Accuser and Phil Coulson are coming back. Remember, it's a 90's prequel, so they're alive. http://www.darkhorizons.com/coulson-ronan-return-in-captain-marvel/
It's way out in October. There's not much competition. Andy Sirkis's alternate mo-cap Jungle Book called "Mowgli", and some indie dramas. Think I'm going with Venom.
Where Michelle Pfeiffer is right on the poster, I'm assuming they get Janet out of the quantum realm right away.
This is how I thought Captain Marvel's introduction would've been cool. You know how in the beginning of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Cap chides Stark for saying "shit?" At the end, as Stark is leaving Avengers HQ he says: "Well, I've got someone to fill in for me." Captain Marvel flies overhead and eclipses the sun, Superman-style. Close-up on an amazed Steve Rogers who says "Oh, shit."
