    It's almost time for the next generation.

    We are 16 years from when the MCU was born with 2008's Iron Man. I figure that sometime around 2028-2035, the temptation to reboot will be too strong. As perfect as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, etc. have been, Disney will say "Hey, no reason to leave a billion dollars on the table just because those guys are too old/expensive/retired/etc, or we wrote ourselves in a corner with this movie or that."

    The beauty of the reboot will be, that first pass, they had to gradually turn the movie viewing public into comic geeks.
    Now? The world is built. They can jump right in with all the characters in-situ.
    No fucking around with origins all over again.

    If seeing the Waynes killed in Crime Alley a half-dozen times has taught us anything, it's that between the suits being afraid that people might not get it and the creative types wanting to put their spin on the legend, it will be very unlikely for people to just jump in the middle of the action.
