We should never use some crazy femnazi to represent all feminists, but using this guy to represent all MRAs is cool. No double standard there. :diacanu:

I pretty much just saw that it was a link to jezebel and rolled my eyes. They are not an honest source, they definitely have an agenda, and they enjoy making mountains out of mole hills.

When their entire writing staff gets down on their knees and begs forgiveness for all the lies they told about Gamer-Gate then I might give them another chance but until then they can fuck off.

We're now expecting you to look this critically at feminists... exactly never.

    Thus proving the MRAs' point.

Oh, wait, this is one guy. Sorry. You threw me off when you used the plural activists. Something something generalization something something can't judge a group by the fringe something blah. Apparently, you'll fly that flag for psycho muslims, but for nobody else.

The only issues they kind of have a point on is custody and alimony.
    The rest is batshit.

We do, actually. Society has bent over backward for women so far that its spine is going, 'crunch', and yes, it's been to the detriment of the rights of men. So yes, actually, we do.

I don't think we do but there are some inequalities when it comes to divorce and parental rights.

Then that's what these clowns should be focused on, not "Somebody hurted my feelings on the Internet!"

Is that analogous to feminists who should only be concerned about the mythical wage gap and no about the nonexistent 'rape culture'?

Are you saying rape is analogous to being insulted on the Internet?

You're leaving out a word there, on purpose, and I'm not answering that question until you put it back. The word is 'culture'. Put it back where I had it, ask me again, and then see if you get an answer.

I've quoted your post exactly, including the use of "no" when you meant "not."

If you're not sober enough to understand your own posts, no one can help you.

No, you haven't. You snipped the word 'culture' out of 'rape culture'. Nobody said that rape is nonexistent. You snipped 'culture' out of 'rape culture' to change the argument, and no, I'm not going to engage with you when you deliberately change the argument.

So you want to argue that 'rape culture' exists, leave the term intact, and then we'll discuss it. But if you're going to manipulate the argument instead of engage it head on, then fuck you. If you want to pretend to occupy the moral high ground, you can start earning that privilege by being honest.

Again, I did not "snip" anything. All your words are right there. What you're doing now is bouncing off the walls to avoid your next problem, which is that if you're making the claim that there's no such thing as rape culture, you'll be required to prove it.

    Keep bouncing.

No one is required to prove a negative. It is the positive that must be proven.

That isn't proof of anything, unless you also contend that Sororities exist for the purpose of girl-on-girl rape, as well.

Is it your contention that the principal problem with fraternities is boy-on-boy rape (not saying it doesn't happen, but I'd argue it's less common)? Otherwise your "analogy" makes no sense.

Do you have any data on girl-on-boy rape in sororities? Kindly present them.

It's my contention that fraternities != rape, and therefore your posting of the word "fraternities" is utterly meaningless in response to a call for proof of "rape culture."

Oh, now it's frat boys? Because, before, you were using the word fraternities. Can you not tell the difference between organizations and some of their members, now? Because you seemed to know the difference, before, when it was a question of Islam versus Muslims.

"Oh, all members of a culture shouldn't be judged on the negative actions of only a few members of that culture!" Does that only go for bronze age savage religions, then?
