    What are you, spoiled? :P
    That's nothing!
I've waited for hours in emergency rooms, and I typically wait AT LEAST 30 minutes at my doctor's office.
Srsly... 15 minutes is not bad at all.

Once in a while, that's fine. But if it was typical, I'd find a new doctor.

Why is it that as soon as I decide to put my headphones on at work and listen to music, suddenly everyone needs to talk to me?

And what's the point of setting "Out of Office" on my email when people just keep bombarding me with their crap? What part of "I'm NOT HERE" is too complicated for them?

Why is the customer who took almost a year to provide me the content for their website now in a great tearing hurry to get it put up? Hell, you took ten months, why shouldn't I?

And explain this one to me. We're setting up user accounts for this one big task we're supporting. Due to various complex technical and policy reasons, it's a manual process. The guy who's providing me with the names and stuff of the people who need accounts sends me an Excel document with 88 names in it. Takes me a day and a half to get them all added (in between all the other shit I do, like manage our Sharepoint environment) and when I send him the document back with the passwords added so the users can log in, he asks me where I got those names and who told me to add them. :bang: YOU DID, YOU FUCKING DUMB-ASS!! So I sent him the date of the email he had sent me with the original request and he went "Oh." :ua:

I hate it when people are going really slow in foggy weather! I had to deal with this one person in a Lexus SUV going 45 in the fog. I don't think the driver knew where they were going. I was like: floor it or get the hell outta the way! :) Drivers aggrivate me sometimes.

I hate it when people wait til the last minute to do everything and expect you to accommodate them and no one else! My uncle is flying in from Vegas tonight(he was originally gonna fly in Sunday..guess he got earlier flight), spend one night with us, then go back to Florida tomorrow morning. So, he expects the bossman and the rest of us to get HIS car ready(needed breaks adjusting and tires rotated and vehicle cleaned up), take it to our house after it's rotated, and leave it for him while he brings the Crown Vic back. Yet if we go to HIS house in Florida, he doesn't accommodate US. That's just wrong and unfair. I'm going to have to move the cat's box into Mom's closet and Mom's gonna have to deal with the pussycats tonight and not sleep well yet again. That's not fair to her. But yet after a long day of work, I have to move the box to her closet and clean up his room while he makes a pig of himself and messes up the whole room with all of his crap. Anyway, I think I need a new job and a hobby! HAHAHA!

:P It's time for a silly, pointless rant:

I hate it when people expect me to be as easy-going as them when it comes to work.

Me: "I have two tests to study for, so I won't be at D&D tomorrow night."
    Friend: "Just study tonight."
Me: "I have a book to finish reading, chemistry assignments, and a crapload of history notes. I won't have time."
Friend: "Sure you will. Just study Friday and Sunday."

I'm gonna skip out on D&D so I can get my work done before Sunday so I can have a day to relax and play some video games.

I told the DM, and he said, "If you change your mind about that, come to D&D."
    :jayzus:
I'm not changing my mind. :P

Eh, just blow off the studying and play D&D. It's not like you're going to bomb the test.

    Riddle me this, then.

Without studying, how do I keep a B in a calculus class I've got an 80 for?
How do I make an A in a history class that asks for detailed information on 30 pages of notes and a 400 page book?

    You're pissing me off. :P

Well, the *reason* she's not going to bomb the test is because she knows to not blow off studying.

But technically, D&D is studying. I mean, in D&D you have knights and peasants and castles and stuff, right? That's history. And doesn't it involve calculating saving throws and armor classes and stuff? Calculus.

So really, by failing to go to her D&D group, she's really setting herself up for failure in both of her classes, isn't she? :soholy: :diablo:

In the future, multitask. Schedule D&D during your classes. Then just drop off a voice recorder to tape the lecture and pick it up later. :soholy:

When you have your work week figured out and you know how to get everything done...and immediately three different people drop three "hot" issues on you--any one of which is going to eat up your whole week and all of them need to be done by the end of the week.

(Which means your proactive work just got chucked out the window, unless you blow them off.)

(Oh, and just about the time you actually roll your sleeves up to tackle one of them, your boss comes into the office to make small talk for 5 minutes about paying taxes.)

I've got two tests this week. I'm a little stressed out, mostly because I tried not to stress, but in trying not to stress, I managed to get a bit lazy. So now, I'm trying to study what I should have studied last week. :garamet:

Anywho, I haven't had a breakdown yet, and that can only be a good thing.

I have a small vent..or maybe a big vent. :) What is it with people??? What I'm meaning to say is, why is it people are so inconsiderate of your feelings???? But then when they have to have something done, you are obligated to get it done ASAP, no questions asked. Here's the situation. Our co-boss is now stationed in Florida and he expected our mechanic to go all the way to Oklahoma on a wild goose chase for some boat papers yesterday! Poor guy had to wait for a while for the other guy to get the paperwork done. The co-boss expects US to get the paperwork on an insignificant boat and to get it registered here instead of in Florida. Now I have to ask, WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH HIM!?!?!?!?! That guy is like a duck- he wakes up to a new world every day! Anyway, it burns me up that all of us have to bust our ass for him and yet if we need him for something, he's never there to begin with. And if we need something done, we have to do it ourselves cause he sure as hell won't do it. He also really angered me yesterday because he put our insurance check into our business's bank without even letting us know about that. I've been sitting around here waiting for that stupid thing for over a month now and it already arrived two weeks ago when he was here. He just put it in the bank like it was his check and never even told us about it. So I was sitting around here waiting to get my license plate and tags for nothing!
One more rant about him: when he comes to visit us, we are obligated to let him live with us for a couple of days..it's really inconvenient because I'm late on those days-he has to get ready first. And yet if we go visit him in Florida, we have to get a hotel room. We don't dare stay at his house! So anyway, needless to say, it's hard soaring like an eagle around all these freaking turkies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^^^ Why are you obligated to let him stay with you? That's just wrong. Next time he tries, tell him you're having construction done on the house and there's no space available, so he'll need a hotel. Or let him stay and present him with a "hotel" bill at the end of the stay (and charge him more than the local hotel would).

    Seriously, that's just f**ked up!

Aw, c'mon. Like I said, ordinarily I'm opposed to marijuana use, but if ever there was a case for an exception this is it:

    1) She's in college. She has to do it at least once while in college.
    2) She's wound waaay too tight and if pot doesn't relax her, I can't think of anything that will, and
    3) Somehow I get the feeling TKO would be ab-so-lutely hi-lariaous stoned.

HAHAH! That's funny but true. Well, he IS the boss and we have to respect him if he wants to come and visit. I know it's stupid and he should have to stay at a hotel, but he's also family and we have to let him stay with us when he comes in. I'll tell yall this much-he ain't gonna use our internet ever again!!!!!!!!! He messed it up when he was here the last time and it wouldn't work for a couple of days. Next time he comes in, the internet will be unplugged and he will be told that it's broken and needs repairs-he just will not be using it anymore in our household!!!!!! He messed it up cause he was probably looking at sex sites(he does that alot..that's just his perrogative) and it screwed up the internet. I'm feeling better about the whole situation today but still-I think he needs to go somewhere else and stay. I wished when he came in we'd go on a trip or something. Anyway, just thought I needed to vent that day and it helped make me feel better. :) So thanks. But he still makes me feel like smashing my head on a brick wall sometimes..he waits til the last minute to do EVERYTHING and expects us to get stuff done yesterday. He also doesn't plan ahead of time..and WE have to pay for HIS plane ticket sometimes. That's the most aggrivating of the whole thing. I hope he stays in Florida a good two to three months cause I don't want him coming to our house and messing up everything. It's really inconvenient for me cause I have to wake his ass up and most of the time he goes back to sleep again. He needs a damn alarm clock just like I have. I awake to an alarm clock every morning. He's an inconsiderate person and only cares about himself most of the time and no one else. He never used to be like that!

I'm looking at PR, and EVERYTHING I see just looks mildly evil :(

It's so hard trying to get into the charity sector!
